DESCRIPTION:Join The Deborah Whitfield Memorial Foundation for Breakfast & Backpacks\, a free community event dedicated to helping local children start the school year prepared and confident. \nFamilies will enjoy a complimentary prepackaged breakfast\, children’s activities\, community resource booths\, and registered children will receive a new backpack filled with school supplies while supplies last. \nThe event will take place on Saturday\, August 8\, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grant Park in Mission Valley. Admission is free\, but advance registration is required to help us prepare enough backpacks and breakfast for every child.
